Plane landed, parked and stopped. BEFORE the captain switched off the seatbelt sign, ALMOST EVERYONE with a Singlish accent stood up to open the overhead compartment to collect baggage. How come when I was going to LA and while travelling in US, EVERYONE WAITED for the seatbelt sign to turn off before collecting their baggage in the overhead compartment?
