767 goes on the belly
A Boeing 767 plane from Polish airline LOT landed on its belly on 1 Nov after the landing gears failed to lower.
No one was injured in this belly landing. In fact it looked quite smooth, thanks to the skill of the crew and the close coordination and preparation from the ground, including the foam sprayed on the runway beforehand.
With all the gloomy feelings around, such good news sure clear the air :)
