evian spelt in reverse

I used to think that people should stick with their job for at least 3 years.
I even thought that I can stick with my first job till I retire. (loyalty reward)
Now I am breaking both of the above myself.

That is how naive I am. Until you see it for yourself, experience it for yourself, get a taste of it yourself, then you understand why ideal gas only exist in textbooks. In sociology there is a term called "social experience" which helps to mold people as we are. Not sure if it can translate into "社会经验" in Chinese, but the idea is there. That's why it is very easy to judge others and their actions, but when you are the one in the same situation, you end up being judged by your earlier self.

By the way, yesterday was my last day of work.

  • rinaz: erm, it's "ideal gas". There is this ideal gas law in which scientists and engineers use for calculation. Some approximations and assumptions made. Real gas in real life don't behave like in the equation.

    hj: erm..

hi pawl bearing, thanks for dropping by.

  • experience it before making a judgement. i think we'll be encountering many situations down the road that make us reflect on the fact that we may not agree with what we have previously judged after we have personally experienced it for ourselves.

  • i guess it is like, it is easy to say the mountain is easy to climb and blah blah, but when we get down to doing it, it's a different story.

  • Haha... sometimes it for the better ba... they keep saying that our generations like to change jobs here and there, but in the first place, the job scope/Benefits they giving us isnt appealing for us. >.< Well at least now u can move on to something that you like. hehe

  • I guess we can look at it both sides. You can say the workers don't stay, or you can say the bosses don't keep them.

It's like, traditionally Japanese companies treasure their old loyal workers, but now with the market driving them up the wall, they are retrenching people as well. So blames who?

  • stuck = still get paid. So it isn't that bad.

Come to think of it, if I didn't resign, I would have been stuck as well.
