nissan bluebird and china

Culture can play an important role in the success (and failure) of a product.

Take for example the Nissan Bluebird, an excellent series of motorcar from Nissan. But it has difficulty selling in China.

In Chinese dialect, "bluebird" means male's genital.

Imagine people saying "want to ride on my bluebird"?

this model quite old liao rite...maybe can change name to old-bird (lao-jiao) instead of (L**-****)

nope, the series is ongoing just like sunny and all.

the latest bluebird looks like a cefiro. Maybe they are the same thing.

Nissan Sylphy is known as Nissan Bluebird Sylphy in other places.
