fare or not fair
I have seen another kind of reaction before. The person would actually borrow money from another passenger (usually a stranger) to pay the bus fare. When I say borrow, it usually means not going to be returned. I have lent money to old aunties before.
So, would you rather owe a stranger money, or owe the bus company money?
Of course you can also get loose change from other passengers with your notes (NOT lecture notes)
Anyway the strange thing is, I saw a lanyard on that girl. Couldn't see if there was an ez-link card or not though.
Labels: bus

I saw this boy who got up the bus he put his EZ link to the machine and there wasn't enough in the card. He tried again and still not enough. He started to panic a bit and dig for coins. But all that he had was just 20 cents. Then the bus driver started scolding him, shouting at him to get off the bus. But the boy said he lived quite far away and me knowing the place well I know he couldn't walk home... So I went up and paid for him.
I don't mind paying that few cents for strangers la. There are a lot of tourists in my area all blurblur one... Yesterday I just helped 3 of them. I guess it's ok unless I see the same guy doing this often.
Thanks man I'm going to blog about this.
