black and white or white and black

Ok I can't stand it no more. It seems ridiculous to wait for the advertisement to finish loading before my own blog post can appear.

So here I am back to 2 columns, well not quite, maybe 1+ 0.5 + 0.5. Please get used to leaning on your left when reading this blog, cos the entries have been shifted back to the left side.

As for the white background, well let's say if your greasy fingers touch the screen, you can spot it.

(I always can't seem to be satisfied with my blog template. Let's see how long can this one last...)

  • It looks ok without the google ads at the top.
    One can get used to sitting on the left of the computer chair.

    The white is nice.

    i know why he/she say too plain liao! it must be that the person does not clean his/her monitor frequently! Ah-ha! I have clean monitor!

    anyway see what you prefer lor. it IS your blog anyway and we'll still read your posts regardless of e design.

    of course unless we can't see the words.

  • my two cents worth: I think the layout for this is not good. I prefer the previous one. there are just too many things on the right hand side... splitting it up makes the blog looks more "easy on the eyes"

  • haha, but there's some trade-off, with the ads on the left, it will have to load first before my own entries can appear. As such, there were many occasions when the ads got stuck and my own words couldn't load =S

    And I do feel that squeezing the entries in the middle looks a bit squeezy. Have you seen my earlier few versions of the template? The entries were also on the left.

    Most importantly, I don't want to sacrifice loading speed. Now the loading is like a breeze!

    but editing on your own feels different.
