That day I was on my way home and I saw an old lady offering her seat to an older lady. I thought it should be the girl sitting beside the old lady who should have offered her seat.

Sometimes I do find it difficult to decide. You can't tell if the lady is pregnant or obese, you can't tell if the man is old or just having more white hair than the rest. Maybe you should do the cruel thing, stand up and watch the rest fight it out for the seat.

Actually there is that bit of selfish thought in me when I offer my seat. My parents are aging and I really hope others will offer their seats to them on public transport when they get older.

Sigh. How to decide who needs the seat more than you do?
