chilly at smu

Had a nice bottle of chilled Paulaner at SMU's Ice-Cold B's last night. Somehow I just like to disturb the other universities. =P

Not sure about NTU, but NUS only has Tiger Beer (I might be wrong, may have root beer too), while at SMU, they have Paulaner, Asahi, Stella Artois, Tuborg and Hoegaarden (but no Tiger). The snacks are a bit disappointing though, so you may want to consider sneaking in some from the nearby convenience stores. SMU student card holders enjoy 30% off (*terms and conditions apply), while if you are chillycraps, flashing your NUS student card entitles you the discount too.

And maybe the waitresses there will start talking about financial accounting with you. Sadly they don't offer engineering at SMU.

  • Waaah enjoy during your student days siah... I remembered hardly drinking anything alcoholic when I was studying, mainly because I just don't have the money to do so. Of course nowadays I do drink a lot more - with a vengeance? hehe

  • haha well, I think this is my first time drinking with my schoolmate. Usually I drink with family, relatives and family-friends.

    It doesn't matter what you missed out, what matters is what you can do at present! =)

    alcohol is so common in australia that it is a problem..

    people just get drunk on beers..

    so cheap that it's not funny..

  • good thing cuz international students can get drunk on cheap beers..

    but bad thing cuz the locals who dun work.. get drunk on beers.. and then create nuisance..
