stand chart called me back
They explained that there was a technical problem with their lines earlier this week and as such there was a cut-off to my phone enquiry. I don't really care if that was really the case or not, as long as the reason sounds reasonable and acceptable, I'm fine with it. So, apology accepted. (actually I could go on and question more, but no lah)
The person asked what was the enquiry I wanted to make, and I pulled stunt and say "oh I was just checking the interest rate" -_-"
"erm, ok" He sounded taken aback. =P
So, at least they value this customer.
