student power

The professor in charge of the design project replied to me! He agreed to open up the slots to 8 per group and "Apologise the instructions given if not clear".

That's good news for me, as I was kinda prepared for the worst (such as public execution at the sports field that sort =P) Fellow students, if you have a case (or a cause), then you should fight for the case and speak up. You don't have to be rude, but you don't have to feel disrespectful at the same time. We are helping them to provide quality tertiary education.

Oh well, I came from a secondary school where students boycotted exam and went on riot. *shrug*

  • Well, if his boss is involved, the professor does not want to get struck in his career.

  • I quote: "Oh well, I came from a secondary school where students boycotted exam and went on riot"

Haa... That was so long ago... Now, if you try to rally people to boycott exam and go on riot, you will be invited for tea by the ISD even before you can start...

Anyway, if I have not remembered wrongly, interestingly, the Government back in the those "bad old days" declared something (can't remember exactly what they declared but think it was to the effect of that if the students don't take the exams, they will disqualified permanently or something) that made the parents try ways & means to let their children (those not boycotting the exams) enter into the exam venues (which were blocked by the boycotting students, I think)...

Haa... No matter how things, parents will be parents...

  • but parents are different nowadays...... think i should talk about it another time =)
