lost in department store

Not sure if it had happened to you before, but I remember when I was a kid sometimes my family brought me to the department store, then somehow either I wandered off or they wandered off and I got separated from the family (this usually took place at the toy section). Then panic set in as I didnot know the way home or had no money on me. (yeah yeah ideas such as reporting police or going to customer service counter)

Even now, this sort of thing happens, sometimes at the supermarket, sometimes at department store (toy section, yes yes. Toys'r'us is worse)

Was at Daiso with my mother, then I got separated from her. I went around looking for her, then ended up..... I was looking at the hot girls in the store...

(there's this joke about a couple who got separated from each other at the department store. The husband went to a pretty sales girl and started flirting with her. He told her that whenever he talks to another female, his wife will find him. The moment he finished the sentence, his wife was pulling him away by his ear)

  • Haa... True... Think your mom would encourage you to know more girls so that she can faster have grandchildren and for you to pass on the Chow family line...

Anyway, I can understand why you will get lost. Local shopping malls are really getting very big (and freezing cold also).

  • Actually, these big & cold shopping malls are just creating a situation of 2 seasons in Singapore. Summer and Winter.
