Yeah, I read from somewhere that this is a standard international procedure for air crashes. I remember it was done with the Garuda plane which crashed at Yogyakarta a couple of months ago. Not surprisingly, most people also speculate that this was done purely to limit the damage to the reputation of the airline.

I read that it is a standard practice to cover up...
it sounds so... ermm.. i dunno how to put it.
it is like saying it is standard procedure to cover backside.

I think this is part of the procedure. If you watch Discovery Channel, there is a show on "Air Crash Investigation".
