happening bus rides

On the way to school...
I realize bus 151 doesn't stop even if you have pressed the bell but didn't stand right at the exit.

On the way home...
I saw this couple in that famous-for-abortion-Junior College uniform. The girl was seated near the exit, the boy standing just beside her. The girl's hand was searching for something inside the boy's pants front pocket. Dunno if she had found what she wanted to find.

  • Hmm... That JC still (in)famous for abortion meh...? Thought it was overtaken by another JC...? Or is this second JC (the one with an unclimbable rockwall) only "famous" for pregnancy while the first one "famous" for abortions...?

    Oh well, it beats having the reputation of being the "dumping ground for people who can't get into top 5 JCs" and/or "the JC where students spend their time trying to make their school top 5"...

  • LCC: I dunno what's the ranking now, but at my time, the one beside PIE was still famous for abortion while the one beside Bukit Timah Road with unclimbable wall (now gone) was famous for pregnancy. I think they were spending time trying to learn abortion.. hmmm future doctors!

  • Yeah... We all are thinking about the same JCs... And don't say "at my time", your batch only 1 batch senior than mine what...

    Hmm... I really wonder how such "rankings" spread and become popularised amongst local students... I mean, I heard about the "rankings" back when I was still in secondary school...

    Wonder whether our alma mater is included in the "rankings" or not... Haa... I suppose that it's not since we would be too busy mugging to make it top 5 (though I have heard rumours that it is already in the top 5)...

  • That infamous photo... Storm in a teacup only... Very few people will remember about it... But I think if one is determined enough, it is still possible to find that photo online (not that it is much to look at)...

    Anyway, when I said our alma mater get into top 5, I mean top 5 for proper academic rankings, not the other type of "rankings"...
