surprise, surprised

Alex asked me out today cos he decided to get the Lafuma jacket from Outdoor Specialist. But he was meeting his friend Kok Wee for movie and I wasn't keen on watching, so I just went out early to loiter around the area. Stephanie is working at Singapore Mint roadshow, so I wanted to go to Suntec to visit her... Turned out she was at Parkway Parade's roadshow today =_= I was planning to give her a surprise, pretend to be customer, attempt to ask for her number; or give her some words of encouragement... was rehearsing inside my mind okay! Anyway think she felt a little bad that I couldn't see her..

Actually it wasn't that fruitless for me (neither was it fruitful) I went to Shaw Towers opposite Suntec to take a look at Basecamp, an outdoor shop where Edwin's friend Zhi Hao got his Triop climbing shoes from. Turned out it was not open today, but still I find that shop quite cool! From behind the glass I could see that it is some sort of a cafe concept, selling Lavazza coffee (did I say coffee?!), milkshakes and outdoor equipment such as Triop climbing shoes and GoNite backpack. I will go back to the shop someday for sure~ Anyway Triop is a Czech brand, not sure how it performs after my not-that-great experience with Bufo.

I tried my luck at Salomon at Suntec, ended up it had totally cleared its stock. Damn, I miss the clearance sales. Then went to Royal Robbins, damn again, saw some nice shirts, but too bad I bought one yesterday at OG... under the pressure from my mother and brother. Sometimes I wish I can have a little more freedom in my choice of clothes, since I don't really buy clothes often.

Ended up Outdoor Specialist wasn't open today as well, all the shops so lazy, don't want to earn money. Oh well, had a nice burrito at Taco Bell @Funan.
