chillycraps, studied mechanical engineering at the National University of Singapore (and occasional had lunch at Nanyang Technological University). Enrolled in the Product Design Specialization, his interest includes computer-aided design (CAD), life-cycle analysis (LCA), human factors engineering and design, and new product development (NPD).
Had some short stints in manufacturing and R&D sectors. Was offered a prestigious posting to one of the country's biggest overseas projects, but turned it down and instead, taking up a job least expected - The education service (which is sort-of a product development). He came to a point when they made him decide his fate for the next 4 years. He heard the calling. He is now an engineer in the energy sector.
